Curtain - Spiral

Formed in the 2000's, Parisian band Curtain is one of the ambassadors of the French cold music movement, with bands like Corpus Delicti, Martin Dupont, Little Nemo and Guerre Froide, with whom they have shared the stage recently. They released several LPs and EPs over the years; the last one – 'Between Us' – was released in 2024 on Manic Depression.

Curtain's unique style is expressed with danceable and powerful rhythms, syncopated and melodic bass lines, very personal guitar sounds and riffs, original synth samples and expressive, intense vocals. Their new album 'Spiral' – also their first ever vinyl edition – includes 9 tracks and is a blend of melodic 'touching pop', darkelectro, post-punk and indie rock. The singles 'Mother' and the very DAF-inspired 'Fire', released a few months ago, highlight the beginning of this new chapter.
