Originally released in November 2024 as a limited box set, Swans' 'LIVE ROPE' is now available for the first time as a regular CD edition. The album documents the 2023–24 US/EU tours and provided the musical foundation for the studio album 'Birthing' (2025). Nearly three hours of transcendental music—hallucinogenic melodies that transform into dense tapestries of sound, carried by Michael Gira's unmistakable voice and collaborators on lap steel, bass, and percussion. Housed in the signature Swans cardboard digipak made of brown chipboard. CD1: Rope/The Beggar (78:24) – CD2: The Hanging Man, Away, Birthing, Cathedrals of Heaven (69:28).
