METRONOM is a one-man project by Alexander Kunaev, one of the shareholders of ScentAir Records - a Moscow music publisher. Primarily after being planned in the early 90s, the project was paused, occasionally resumed by homeworking since 1992-1993, 1996-1998, 2003-2007, 2014-2016, 2019 and up to now. The project was reactivated at the beginning of 2019.
The main 8 instrumental tracks of the debut album were reworked in 2020 for a new sound concept. Mixing and mastering were done by Oleg Sergeev, who is a participant in iconic projects such as HOLOCODER, STURM, and GEKATA.
Remixes and covers by fellow performers such as George Pappas of ALIEN SKIN, Alex Nord of NORDIKA, Maxim Sosnin of SECTOR 516, and Alexander Makarov of the Moscow project IRRADIATED WITH SOUND will be presented.
The CD version will be published by the friendly MIC Label. Artworks by Lana Cardi.
