Industrial music developed in the 70s, based on electronic avant-garde music and musique concrète.
Carlos Perón was significantly involved in this development. Typical of this genre were tonal distortion, noise from sturgeons, or specially recorded machine and engine noises, often reinforced with extravagant samples, or somber soundscapes and classical elements from Wagner to Hindemith. Voice is used as a quotation. The theoretical dispute between musique concrète from Paris and the Cologne electronic music school, which flared up in the mid-20th century, was often reduced in public perception to the individuals Pierre Schaefer and Karlheinz Stockhausen.
These musical pieces by Perón are aural sculptures, such as only the likes of Michelangelo, Luginbühl, or Arno Breker could create. This compilation will now be released exclusively on ZONE 30 RECORDS as a 300-copy limited edition in a paper sleeve. As a bonus, the CD contains the video clip for “Hochofen Acht,” which is based on old Yello filmworks from 1979!
