Blutengel - Black Angel

Few names in the Gothic and Darkwave scene carry as much weight as Blutengel. For over two decades, they have shaped the sound of the dark underground – captivating synth-pop melodies, haunting vocals, and lyrics that oscillate between longing, darkness, and a glimmer of hope. The new single "Schwarzer Engel" is released as a CD edition and proves that a single song can have many faces.

The original version shows Blutengel at their strongest: atmospheric, emotionally charged dark electronics with an irresistible melodic pull. The three additional versions make the CD a complete musical experience: The US darkwave/EBM duo ghostbells, known for dark synths and basslines with melancholic melodies, brings a certain club feeling to the single mix. At the other end of the spectrum, the Erdling Piano Cover highlights the emotionally touching, darkly beautiful foundation of the track. The Destroy Me Again Remix rounds off the package with the characteristic blend of driving beats and atmospheric hooks from the dark-pop act.
