GIIRLS is a synthwave solo-project acting in Paris, FR. Also guitarist in DEAD and FTR (ex-FUTURE), he tries to explore different sounds he used to play. Keeping Noise and Shoegaze apart (but not completely), he decided - by using more synthetizers - to change his ways to compose and feel music. As a huge fan of movie soundtracks and bassline sounds, his music on GIIRLS combines atmospheric sounds, rock but also EBM moods.

GIIRLS’ “Time of Glass" thus is an album which explores more Synthwave / Electro sounds. There is a mix of both, classic 80s but also modern moods, and references to several legendary bands like The Cure, Trisomie 21 but also Kavinsky or The Soft Moon. In the next GIIRLS album (scheduled for 09/13), the voice is a little more highlighted, notably in the tracks in collaboration with RENDEZ-VOUS, MODERN MEN or DEAD. A way to open his music to new horizons.
