Ductape - Faded Flowers

Emerging from Istanbul's underground, Ductape return with Faded Flowers, an emotionally immersive new album shaped by themes of global emotional collapse, social alienation, and the quiet rebellion of individuality. The album is without a doubt the band's most cinematic work.

Formed by Çağla Güleray and Furkan Güleray, Ductape have become known for transforming emotional vulnerability into powerful, cinematic darkwave. With Faded Flowers, the duo pushes deeper into a world where modern existence feels increasingly disconnected, artificial, and spiritually exhausted.

Blending fierce synthesizers, cold basslines, Çağla's distinctive vocal delivery, guitars that seem to speak in complete sentences, expressive, restless, and emotionally exposed rhythms, Faded Flowers captures the tension between inner collapse and resistance. The first single 'Fine' received an overwhelmingly positive response worldwide. This was followed by the Turkish-language track 'Gölgesiz', showcasing the band's ability to blend their native language with their signature melancholic intensity. Most recently, 'Obscure' further hinted at the darker, more refined sound of the album.

The CD edition comes in a Digipak with a 12-page booklet containing all lyrics.
