One year after the dark and melancholic 'Rain On A Wedding Day,' the Industrial Metalheads return with a new album. The album's title itself is a clear reference to Revelation 6:17: 'For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can stand?', and the lyrics certainly contain plenty of wrath. The main themes revolve around anger, melancholy, and a nihilistic existential approach that leaves no room for hope or a better tomorrow. In doing so, the Italians don't just present us with a new album, but rather create an entirely new world full of dystopian images and stories that directly touch upon all the themes that make our time seem no less surreal. The dystopian cyberpunk atmosphere of the opus is perfectly depicted by breathtaking sci-fi cover art by Noel Guard (Fear Factory, among others).
