Tanaros - Welcome To Zero

Tanaros was founded in 2005 as an Industrial Rock act that gradually transformed into a pure Dark Electro act until 2012. After that, other projects and decisions took priority; it was as if Tanaros silently vanished...

The band speaks: Fast forward 12 years later, I really had the strong wish to compose some new solo songs again, like an anniversary after all that time. I wanted to know if I could still do it. This is the result: "Welcome to Zero".

I wanted to take the best of the old and the new, threw it into a blender, and got the greatest I could wish for. Hard-pounding beats, a dark electronic backbone, orchestral elements, some heavy metal riffing, and harsh vocals with profound lyrics to think about. Side A tells a story about a nameless Rockstar, who flew high but crashed even deeper. You can see what he was seeing, you can feel what he was feeling, but in the end, nothing lasts forever, as you might realize, rather sooner than later... Side B is more about some personal themes that emerged in recent years. From social criticism to A.I. and apocalyptic visions, it's all in here. And I sing these songs in German. Everybody likes that, I know.
