The first of two new releases in June on the db2fluctuation label will be a departure from the "usual" catalogue, but one similar in spirit and intention. The band/project Rouge Brulé can be defined as experimental, avant-garde free-form jazz and minimal cosmic psychedelia.
Rouge Brulé tries to push the boundaries and explores new soundscapes, incorporating granular techniques and improvisation. Free-form with no set structure or pre-determined chord progressions, allowing for complete creative freedom.
This is minimal cosmic music with simple, repetitive rhythms and patterns, relying on stripped-down instrumentation. They incorporate elements of space and synthetic sounds, creating a surreal, otherworldly experience, infused with elements of psychedelia and incorporating trippy soundscapes and mind-challenging textures. This is repetition with subtle changes and synthetic drones. These become a mass of sound, motion and vibration. Rouge Brulé is a double CD album. Mastered & Produced by Daniel B.
