In just one evening, Duran Duran conquered the stage in Los Angeles with a legendary performance, alongside some of the greatest names in music history. Filmed by acclaimed filmmaker David Lynch ("The Elephant Man," "Blue Velvet") at the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles, with special guests Mark Ronson, Kelis, Gerard Way (My Chemical Romance), and Beth Ditto (Gossip), the film is a multimedia experience that takes audiences on a cinematic journey with one of the most successful pop/rock bands on the planet. "The idea was to try to create layers of images simultaneously with Duran Duran's stage performance," explains director David Lynch. "A world of experimentation and happy accidents." Simon Le Bon, the band's singer, adds, "We were all beyond thrilled that David Lynch agreed to film this show for us, and we knew he would create something unlike anything seen before." Although known for their epic productions and groundbreaking stage designs and shows, this is only the second time in their three-decade career that the band has filmed one of their concerts in magnificent HD picture and sound!
