Two years after their top-5 album and with three pre-singles under their belt, Blutengel releases their new album "Un:Gott". Once again, frontman Chris Pohl offers a glimpse into his world, whose development can mostly be described with one attribute, musically as well as lyrically: larger!
Where the journey started with "Child Of Glass" 20 years ago, the circle closes for "Un:Gott," which builds a bridge between past and future. The traditional style loved by fans is pushed to its absolute limits. Epic melodies unite with danceable beats and produce sinister, extremely catchy anthems led by vocalists Chris Pohl and Ulrike Goldmann. The choruses are even more direct, the melancholy a bit gloomier, the angry parts a bit more furious, hope is even brighter, the sustained emotions more intense. In this regard, the band satisfies with their uncompromising approach to maintaining their trademarks and carrying them sensibly into new times. This includes the lyrical concept, which picks up on the old yet still current question about God and the devil and humanity's responsibility for good and evil, but still provides a lot of room for personal tones.
