Battle Scream - Reflection

Founded in 2001, "Battle Scream" has gained a large and loyal fan base far beyond the borders of their hometown of Dresden with their unconventional mixture of heavy guitars and an experimental, multi-layered electro sound.

Catchy and high-quality electronic-rock "black art" - this is how Battle Scream was aptly described in scene magazines.

In the 20th year of their existence, Battle Scream has undergone an internal upheaval and is entering a new era with a new lineup. Tino Dernehl, the new guitarist, will also be the second voice alongside frontman Alex. Musically, the band will remain true to itself, but new impulses and creativity will be reflected in the new Battle Scream sound.

In 2024, the next and seventh album, "SPIEGELBILD," is in the starting blocks, with which the band will also go on tour throughout Germany.

With the new long player, the band is treading familiar but not well-worn paths. With clear messages and a tried-and-tested mix of German and English songs, the band also processes the past few years. Social criticism and very personal experiences are addressed. The usual varied, multi-layered sound is perfectly complemented by the interplay of Alex's and Tino's voices.

"Spiegelbild" is intended to be a kind of conclusion to the last few exhausting years for Battle Scream. The band is launching into the future with the new album. "Nothing after us," the title line of one of the songs, symbolizes the new beginning.
